DESCRIPTION:Bruning Sculpture\, Hot Shops Pottery\, and Crystal Forge make up the very heart of the Hot Shops Art Center\, with the molten nature of their work giving it its “hot” name. It also houses over 80 studio artists\, as well as four gallery spaces in the building complex located in downtown Omaha\, just north of the Century Link Center at the corner of 13th and Nicholas. DESCRIPTION:Beginning Sunday June 5 –July 3 we are offering a five week study based on the book Love Does by Bob Goff.  Here is a little introduction: \n“Tapping into love requires a different skill set than what it takes to memorize answers for a test or to follow all the traffic laws so you don’t get a ticket.  This isn’t a love you can earn\, buy\, or win.  It’s something better.  Something bigger. And it just might be something you discover more about by “doing stuff” too. \nThat’s what this study is all about. \nLove does is a five-week experiment in doing the love of God.  Each session will explore a different aspect of God’s active love through the teachings and stories of Bob Goff. There will be an opening question\, a short Bible study\, and then a video featuring Bob.  However\, the real action comes after the video when you dig into each topic in a guided small group time.  Here’s where the rubber meets the road and you see how God’s love gets practical as you are invited to join in it too.  It’s going to be great. Really.” \nJoin us for a sandwich lunch ($3.00 donation)\, a time of fellowship and a great study.  Look for the signup in Calvin hall or contact the church office.
