DESCRIPTION:Christmas Eve Service\nPrelude Music  – 4:30 pm;  Candlelight Worship Service – 5:00 pm\nYOU are invited to our Christmas Eve service beginning at 4:30 pm with Prelude Music.  Soloists and groups from the church offer their musical talents and abilities to set a spirit of worship and adoration for our Candlelight Christmas Eve Service at 5:00 p.m. The author of this article may  be rather biased\, but this is a most beautiful candlelight service with the lighting of candles and singing “Silent Night” at the end of the service.  It is absolutely beautiful\, and this author will tell you it brings tears to her eyes.  Come and join us on this special night. You won’t regret it.  It is one of the most beautiful evening services our church has.

DESCRIPTION:Just a reminder that this Sunday\, December 23\, is our annual wassail (non-alcoholic) and Christmas Carol sing-a-long.  We meet in our dining room\, tables are decorated with Christmas greens and candles\, and then there is the long table of homemade COOKIES!  We also have a leader who takes charge of leading the group in the  Christmas carols we will sing.  It begins at 7:00 pm and it ends at 8:00 pm.  We stick to the time\, and this is a family friendly activity.   We close the evening with “The Twelve Days of Christmas!” Join us!

DESCRIPTION:“The light shines in the darkness\, and the darkness can never extinguish it.” \n John 1:5  \nThe Christmas season can be difficult for those of us experiencing loneliness\, sadness and loss. We can feel singled out by the programmed happiness of “the most wonderful time of the year.” But we are not alone. As the hymn states\, the hopes and fears of all the years are met in him\,” Jesus\, Immanuel\, God with us. Many people experience at least some sadness and loss in this season.  \nWith this thought in mind we will be hosting our annual Blue Christmas Service on Saturday December 15\, at 11:30 a.m. This gathering will be an opportunity to be with others who struggle during the holidays and to support each other through time together in prayer\, worship and remembrance with a lunch served following the service.  \nIn order to be sure we have a place for everyone at the table a reservation is required. DESCRIPTION:Start a New Tradition this Advent Season \nThere are several opportunities for you to make the most of this Advent season\, to slow down the frantic pace of the Christmas hustle and bustle and reflect upon the true Reason for the Season.  \nJoin us on the first Sunday of Advent as we celebrate the season in a BIG way!  \n9:00am: The morning begins with Breakfast at 9 am in Knox Hall. Breakfast is being catered by Table Grace Café\, which means it will be delicious!  \n9:15: Following breakfast there will be activities to help prepare our hearts and homes for the Advent season. The Adult Bible study class will also begin their Advent Study\, Because of Bethlehem\, over in Millard Hall.  \n10:30: Worship with Communion will begin at 10:30.  \n11:30: Following worship\, we will continue the celebration as we seek to serve our community with service projects for all ages and abilities.  \nNoon: Then\, join with the Deacons and others as we go out and spread the Holiday cheer and carol to some of our Homebound members and friends!  \n
