DESCRIPTION:Friday\, September 7 is our annual OWL Walk at the Hitchcock Wetlands!  We will meet at 5.45 pm we wil meet at Sortino’s Pizza (78th and L) for food and fellowship.  (Everyone is responsible for their own food costs.) \nThen we leave in our cars for our guided walk at the Hitchcock Wetlands (103 Camp Gifford Road\, Bellevue\, across from Gifford Farm). Our walk is through the forest to look for and listen to owls.  The area is handicap accessible.  The cost is $9.50 for adults and $7.50 for children 2-17 years of age.  (There is no charge for members of Fontenelle Forest.)  Don’t forget to bring binoculars and a flashlight if you have them.  This activity will be fun for the whole family!  Please register and pay during coffee hour after worship.  If you have any further questions\, please contact Tom Helligso!

Have you ever wondered if it’s really possible to be “anxious for nothing\,” as the apostle Paul said in Philippians 4:4–8? \nWhile anxiety is a part of life\, it doesn’t have to dominate life. With God as your helper and his promises at your side\, you and your church can discover a life of calm and develop tools for combating the onslaught of anxiety. \nIn this five-week study\, you will explore Paul’s words and see they really do provide a treatment plan from God on how to live without worries. Together we will seek to this prescription – celebrating God’s goodness\, asking for his help\, leaving concerns with him\, meditating on good things – knowing that we will experience a peace that “transcends all understanding.” \nThis 5 week class begins Monday\, June 25 at 4 pm in Jenk’s Lounge. \n
