*The Greeting and Welcoming of One Another
(There are no strangers in God’s House, just friends we have not yet met.
Greet your neighbor in Christian love and let them know that you’re glad to see them!)
*Hymn “My Lighthouse” Rend Collective
*Call to Worship (Responsive) AJ Baratta
Leader: We gather today as people hungry to learn;
People: we listen to God’s Word and strive to understand.
Leader: We are told that even through tribulations, we are loved;
People: we want to believe in God’s intercessions, but we are slow learners.
Leader: Time after time we turn to God for help and time after time God responds.
We come together to encourage each other to recognize God’s help and love.
All: Let us worship God!
*Hymn “10,000 Reasons” M Redman
*Prayer of Confession (Unison)
Dear Lord, it often seems in our daily lives that we struggle with problems, we feel unloved and unworthy. We seek Your help, yet we fail to see Your hand at work in our lives. You constantly reassure us that even when trials of life put us down, You will raise us up. Give us the confidence to believe Your promise to always be with us. Help us through the times of doubt, when we can’t find You through our fear. Remind us of Your unending love so that we can finally, truly and fully believe that You are on the journey with us.…(Silent time of prayer)
*Assurance of Pardon
Leader: No matter what happens in our lives, no matter how we may question
ourselves or doubt the Lord; He freely gives His love, His mercy and His encompassing forgiveness.
All: Thanks be to God!
* The Gloria Patri – Hymn Tune, 581
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost;
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Results of Justification
5 Therefore, since we are justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom we have obtained access to this grace in which we stand; and we boast in our hope of sharing the glory of God. 3 And not only that, but we also boast in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, 4 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, 5 and hope does not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us.
WE SEAL AND RESPOND TO GOD’S WORD
*Hymn #829 “My Faith Looks Up to Thee”
*The Apostles’ Creed
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen
Offertory “Thy Will” Scott, Herms & Weisband

The Prayer of Thanksgiving (Unison)
Eternal God, thank you for coming to us in Jesus Christ. Renew in us faith and hope that we may welcome Christ to rule our thoughts and claim our love, as Lord of lords and King of kings through Jesus Christ, who taught us to pray:
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.
