*The Greeting and Welcoming of One Another
(There are no strangers in God’s House, just friends we have not yet met.
Greet your neighbor with Christian love and let them know that you’re glad to see them!)
*Praise Hymn #136 “Go Tell It on the Mountain”
*Call to Worship
Leader: Young or old, male or female, rich or poor;
People: Come and worship!
Leader: From near or from far, no matter what you do or who you are;
People: Come and worship!
Leader: God created all in the air, all on the ground and all in the sea. God
created time, space and everything in between.
ALL: Let us come and worship God!
*Praise Hymn “Glory (Let There be Peace)” Stevens, Maher, Popadic
*Prayer of Confession (Unison)
Dear Lord, we often walk through life taking for granted the grass and the sky, the birds and the butterflies. We praise scientists for their theories and doctors for their medicine. We thank mother nature for the weather and credit good luck charms for our wins. Forgive us for ignoring Your part in our lives. Help us to see creation as the work of Your hand; that which aids us as the work of Your heart and the blessings we receive as the work of Your grace. May we never cease to come to You in worship…(Silent time of prayer)
*Assurance of Pardon
Leader: God is the Creator and Maker of all good things, including us. Even when
we aren’t good, God loves us unconditionally and forgives us unceasingly.
ALL: Thanks be to God!
* The Gloria Patri – Hymn Tune, 581
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost;
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Praise for God’s Universal Glory
1 Praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord from the heavens;
praise him in the heights!
2 Praise him, all his angels;
praise him, all his host!
3 Praise him, sun and moon;
praise him, all you shining stars!
4 Praise him, you highest heavens,
and you waters above the heavens!
5 Let them praise the name of the Lord,
for he commanded and they were created.
6 He established them forever and ever;
he fixed their bounds, which cannot be passed.
7 Praise the Lord from the earth,
you sea monsters and all deeps,
8 fire and hail, snow and frost,
stormy wind fulfilling his command!
9 Mountains and all hills,
fruit trees and all cedars!
10 Wild animals and all cattle,
creeping things and flying birds!
11 Kings of the earth and all peoples,
princes and all rulers of the earth!
12 Young men and women alike,
old and young together!
13 Let them praise the name of the Lord,
for his name alone is exalted;
his glory is above earth and heaven.
14 He has raised up a horn for his people,
praise for all his faithful,
for the people of Israel who are close to him.
Praise the Lord!

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily

into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the
power and the glory, forever. Amen.
