There is no audio of today’s sermon; a technical challenge mysteriously deleted the sermon recording.
Since the sermon was on going deeper into our faith, this gives us a perfect opportunity to take some time to plunge deeper into today’s sermon scripture ourselves.
The website StudyLight.org gives access to many tools and Bible commentaries.
The one linked here is to Gill’s Exposition of the Whole Bible which is a commentary that goes about as deep as it gets
BibleHub.com also has many tools for deeper study. One that can take you really deeper is the ability verse by verse and word by word to look things up in a concordance to find out deeper meanings in the words of modern scripture.
The Omaha Library has many books, audio cds, ebooks, and audiobooks about Biblical topics. For those on the go, their OverDrive access is a great resource.

In this fellowship where you can ask questions, provide feedback, and hear from the experience of others is where the deepness feels the safest. *Call to Worship
Leader: We gather this morning, full of hope;
People: seeking the knowledge given to us through the love of God!
Leader: We come to fill our emptiness;
People: to join together as the fullness of God flows within us.
Leader: Whether you woke this morning feeling at one with God, or you need to
be reminded, the love God has for us is more than we can ever imagine!
ALL: Let us worship God!
*Hymn “I’ll Fly Away” Albert E Brumley
*Prayer of Confession (Unison)
Dear Lord, no matter how many times we are told that You love us, our feelings of inadequacy cause us to question You. Our inability to love fully creates doubt about Your ability to love unconditionally. We let the anger that comes from our struggles hold us back from recognizing the good within us and others. Help us to be strong in Your power to keep us grounded and to love without limits.…(Silent time of prayer)

WE HEAR GOD’S WORD
We come together this morning to set apart these teachers for the special work to
which Christ has called them.

Leader: The task of the church is not carried out alone by those who are thrust into
positions of leadership or of direct responsibility for the work which must be performed. It is a trust committed to each member and to all of us together that we shall be coworkers with Christ and with those we call to special service, supporting them with our best efforts and our prayers. How do you respond to this calling?
People: We thank God for those he has called to special service in his church. As
members, parents, and children, we pledge you our support. We will pray
for you as you lead us, and we will work and witness together. We will join
you in receiving the Word by faith and in living by it in our daily life.
Almighty God, lovingly guide and protect those who, out of a heart of
compassion, undertake to teach us, our children and our youth. Give them
knowledge, patience, grace, and peace. Most of all, give them a passion for the
wisdom which comes only from you, so that by the work of your Holy Spirit, we
may see Christ living in and through us. May we go deeper in our faith because
of their teachings. To the glory of your holy name, through Christ our Lord we
After the Children’s Message, preschoolers through 1st graders may continue to Millard Hall for Children’s Church. All other students are asked to remain in worship.

Prayer for the Readers
14 For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth takes its name. 16 I pray that, according to the riches of his glory, he may grant that you may be strengthened in your inner being with power through his Spirit, 17 and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, as you are being rooted and grounded in love. 18 I pray that you may have the power to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
20 Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
WE RESPOND TO GOD’S WORD

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily
bread; and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not
into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the
power and the glory, forever. Amen.
