*Call to Worship

Leader:     As we gather this morning, let us strive to see others as the Lord sees us;

People:    and to forgive as He forgives.

Leader:     Let us draw in His wisdom as we share His word;

People:    and place our hope in Him.

       Leader:     Jesus hears our cries and our praise!  He knows our struggles and our

desires!  He loves, He redeems, and He is with us as we seek His will.

         ALL:      Let us worship God!

*Hymn                                               “I’ll Fly Away”                                                A Brumley

*Prayer of Confession (Unison)

Dear Lord,  try as we may we struggle day after day to follow You.  We err, we use poor judgement, we make mistakes, we sin.  We let perceived power overrule our better judgement.  We choose the popular choice over the right decision.  We allow the crowd to sway us.  We look to those close to us for help, and would rather disappoint You than them.  Help us to seek Your will for our lives.  Guide us to the answers You provide.  Fill us with Your wisdom.  Pick us up when we fall and give us the confidence to stand with You and against sin…(Silent time of prayer)

*Assurance of Pardon

Leader:    Jesus knows that we are flawed.  Whether our failings affect one or

hundreds, they happen when we turn from Him; but He never leaves us.  He

loves us and forgives us and calls us His own.

ALL:         Thanks be to God!

*The Gloria

                                    Glory be to God the father, Glory be to God the son,
