WE GATHER TO PRAISE GOD,
THE LORD OF LIFE
Welcome

Call to Worship
Leader:           Whatever you do, work heartily;
ALL:               labor for the Lord and not for people.
Leader:           Serve Christ faithfully knowing that from Him you will receive an inheritance as your reward.
ALL:               Let us serve as we worship God.

Praise Hymn                  “Always”                                K Stanfill

Prayer of Confession (Unison)
Dear Lord, too often we see others only in light of what they can do for us: we help only to be helped; we give  only to receive; we serve only to be served; we lift others up only to inflate our own egos. Help us to seek opportunities to serve those who are unable to reciprocate and in doing which we are recognized only as servants of the Lord…(Silent time of prayer)

Assurance of Pardon
Leader:           Jesus came to save the world by serving the people in it.  He forgives our sins to lighten our burdens so that we may, in turn, serve others.
ALL:               Thanks be to God!

The Gloria
Glory be to God the father,
Glory be to God the son,
Glory be to God the spirit,
All glory to the one.

WE HEAR GOD’S WORD
