Hymn “Come Now Is The Time To Worship” B Doerksen
Come, now is the time to worship
Come, now is the time to give your heart
Come, just as you are to worship
Come, just as you are before your God
Come
One day ev’ry tongue will confess You are God
One day ev’ry knee will bow
Still the greatest treasure remains for those
Who gladly choose you now
Come, now is the time to worship
Come, now is the time to give your heart
Come, just as you are to worship
Come, just as you are before your God
Come
One day ev’ry tongue will confess You are God
One day ev’ry knee will bow
Still the greatest treasure remains for those,
Who gladly choose you now
One day ev’ry tongue will confess You are God
One day ev’ry knee will bow
Still the greatest treasure remains for those,
Who gladly choose you now
Come, now is the time to worship
Come, now is the time to give your heart
Come, just as you are to worship
Come, just as you are before your God
Come
Come
Come

Call to Worship AJ Baratta
Leader: We gather this morning in excited expectation and shouts of hosanna.
People: We know that Jesus is coming!
Leader: The Savior that we prayed for and waited for is finally here.
People: He enters our towns, our homes, our lives and our hearts.
Leader: Just as the Lord’s entrance into Jerusalem united the people looking for
a King, He continues to bring us together, even when we are physically apart.
ALL: Hosanna! Let us worship God!
Hymn #197 “Hosanna, Loud Hosanna”
Hosanna, loud Hosanna, the little children sang;
Through pillared court and temple the joyful anthem rang.
To Jesus, who had blessed them, close folded to his breast,
The children sang their praises, the simplest and the best
From Olivet they followed ‘mid an exultant crowd,
The victor palm branch waving, and chanting clear and loud;
The Lord of earth and heaven rode on in lowly state,
Nor scorned that little children should on his bidding wait.
“Hosanna in the highest!” That ancient song we sing,
For Christ is our Redeemer, the Lord of heaven, our King.
O may we ever praise him with heart and life and voice,
And in his blissful presence eternally rejoice.
Prayer of Confession (Unison)
Dear Lord, we ask You to help us, we beg You to intercede, and we believe that You will; yet we too often doubt You. We know Your power and dominion, but often expect magic instead of strength, easy solutions instead of hard work and instant change instead of steady progress. Help us to recognize You not for what You can do for us, but what You came to do for everyone…
(Silent time of prayer)
Assurance of Pardon
Leader: Even when our cries of joy and adoration turn into shouts of anger and
distrust, Jesus enters our lives as the Most High and grants us love,
mercy and forgiveness..
ALL: Thanks be to God!
The Gloria Patri – Hymn Tune, 581
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost;
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Children’s Message
Message “Triumph in the City” Dr. Jonathan Sloan
Matthew 21:1-11
Jesus’ Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem
21 When they had come near Jerusalem and had reached Bethphage, at the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples, 2 saying to them, “Go into the village ahead of you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her; untie them and bring them to me. 3 If anyone says anything to you, just say this, ‘The Lord needs them.’ And he will send them immediately.” 4 This took place to fulfill what had been spoken through the prophet, saying, 5 “Tell the daughter of Zion, Look, your king is coming to you, humble, and mounted on a donkey, and on a colt, the foal of a donkey.”
6 The disciples went and did as Jesus had directed them; 7 they brought the donkey and the colt, and put their cloaks on them, and he sat on them. 8 A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, and others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. 9 The crowds that went ahead of him and that followed were shouting,
“Hosanna to the Son of David!
Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest heaven!”
10 When he entered Jerusalem, the whole city was in turmoil, asking, “Who is this?” 11 The crowds were saying, “This is the prophet Jesus from Nazareth in Galilee.”
WE RESPOND TO GOD’S WORD
Hymn #198 “Ride On! Ride On in Majesty!”
Ride On! Ride on in Majesty!
Hark! All the tribes hosanna cry;
Thy humble beast pursues its road
With palm and scattered garments strowed.
Ride On! Ride on in Majesty!
In the lowly pomp ride on to die;
O Christ, they triumphs now begin
O’er captive death and conquered sin.
Ride On! Ride on in Majesty!
The hosts of angels in the sky
Look down with sad and wondering eyes
To see the approaching sacrifice.
Ride On! Ride on in Majesty!
In lowly pomp ride on to die;
how thy meek head To mortal pain
then take, O God, thy power and reign
.
Prayers of the People and The Lord’s Prayer (Unison)
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy
will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

Hymn “10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord)” M Redman
Bless the Lord oh my soul
Oh my soul
Worship His Holy name
Sing like never before
Oh my soul
I’ll worship Your Holy name
The sun comes up
It’s a new day dawning
It’s time to sing Your song again
Whatever may pass
And whatever lies before me
Let me be singing
When the evening comes
Bless the Lord oh my soul
Oh my soul
Worship His Holy name
Sing like never before
Oh my soul
I’ll worship Your Holy name
You’re rich in love
And You’re slow to anger
Your name is great
And Your heart is kind
For all Your goodness
I will keep on singing
Ten thousand reasons
For my heart to find
Bless the Lord oh my soul
Oh my soul
Worship His Holy name
Sing like never before
Oh my soul
I’ll worship Your Holy name
And on that day
When my strength is failing
The end draws near
And my time has come
Still my soul will
Sing Your praise unending
Ten thousand years
And then forevermore
Bless the Lord oh my soul
Oh my soul
Worship His Holy name
Sing like never before
Oh my soul
I’ll worship Your Holy name
I’ll worship Your Holy name
God, I’ll worship Your Holy name
Sing like never before
Oh my soul
I’ll worship Your Holy name
I’ll worship Your Holy name
God, I’ll worship Your Holy name
Benediction
Benediction Response “Blest Be the Tie that Binds” arr. L Mason
Blest be the tie that binds
our hearts in Christian love.
The fellowship of kindred minds
is like to that above.
When we are called to part,
it gives us inward pain;
but we shall still be joined in heart,
and hope to meet again.
