Open Door Mission Christmas Toy Drive – December 9th
On December 9, the FPC youth group will take the donated toys to the Open Door Mission. They will serve
at Project Santa Toy & Joy from 12:00 – 2:00 pm. The youth group will stock the shelves with new toys for
parents to choose from and stuff stockings with small gifts to hand out.Project Santa provides toys to needy boys and girls so that everyone will have gifts on Christmas morning. Parents can go to the donation center where they will be able to pick out Christmas gifts for their children.
Here’s where YOU can make a difference!
The FPC Youth Group will be collecting toys for Project Santa several weeks in November and December.
We will have a large donation box outside the Youth Ministry Office on the following Sundays, November 26
and December 3. Please bring a new toy from the list below. When purchasing your toy, please keep in mind
the Open Door Mission is requesting certain brands of toys.
* Fisher Price or Playskool Toddler Toys * ALL Sports Balls * Baby Dolls
* Board Games & Puzzles (especially for Children 8+ & Family Time) * Barbie Dolls
* Cars (all sizes, especially Matchbox & Hot Wheel sets) * Play-Doh Sets
* Craft Sets * General name brand toys for children of all ages
This is the 3rd year the youth will have served at Project Santa Toy & Joy. The smiles and happiness
expressed by the parents as they shop for their children is evidence of the worthiness of this Christmas mission.
Thank you for supporting the FPC Youth Group, but more importantly, for helping us to reach out into our
community to show them that First Presbyterian Church truly cares! We hope you help provide new toys for
Project Santa Toy & Joy!
