Help for Refugees

As you may know, we are collecting household items for a refugee family we hope to sponsor in the near future. We are working with Morning Star Lutheran Church who has sponsored a refugee family from Afghanistan. We won’t know where the family is from until we get official notification a family is set to arrive in Omaha.

On the bulletin board just inside Calvin Hall is a spreadsheet with all the items listed that we need. When you see an item you can provide, write your name in the blank space. Obviously, just one of some items is needed. For others, such as towels, for example, multiple items are needed. When you fill in one blank, you are committing to one of that item.

When you bring your items back to church, look for the palm tree in South Calvin.
