All or Nothing?

Based on Philippians 4:4-15, Rev. Jennifer Blake reminds the congregation that our faith grounds us in contentment not only when there is plenty, but also when there is little. Even when times are rough our faith enables us to recognize the things our Lord is doing in our lives and how He gives us strength to rise above the worries of the world. Our faith compels us to focus on the bright side so that through our exuberance others will see that our God brings us peace.

A Gift for the World

Based on 1 Timothy 6:6-10, 17-19, Dr. Jonathan Sloan talks to the congregation about the joy of giving and explains how our faith allows us to be content with whatever material status God has blessed us with. Beyond our contentment, we must also give back to the world in thankfulness for what God has provided us. When we tithe, the church returns that wealth to the community with God as our highest representative.
