Going DEEPER in Lent 

I think of all the Seasons of the Church year, Lent is my favorite. It is a time of inward reflection, a season to take stock of one’s faith, and an opportunity for repentance and change. Over the years I have begun the practice of adding something to enhance my Lent rather than give up something. That has been an interesting journey that has allowed me to expand my faith practice, strengthen my walk and truly go deeper in my relationship with Christ. 

This Lent I invite you to go DEEPER in your faith. Start a spiritual habit – read through one of the Gospels, spend more time in prayer, be a part of our One Word Journey. Maybe you have been thinking about being a part of a small group study, Lent is the perfect time to be a part of group. Perhaps you can give of your time through helping in the pantry or visiting with friends who aren’t able to make it church every Sunday. 

I hope this Lent becomes a season of deeper faith in your life, whether that be participating in small group, Sunday worship, Midweek Worship, or perhaps you would like to start something new and need some help…let’s talk! There are so many ways that we can all go Deeper in our faith and the next 40 days are a great start.
