What an Amazing Summer….

Youth TrienniumJuly 10-16, 12 youth and four adults headed to Michigan for a week of mission and ministry. We worked hard all week as we did demolition, painted rooms, worked in a garden, picked up trash, played bingo at the Senior Center and played with kids at Kids Club. We also experienced the community of Benton Harbor in our evening activities and swam in Lake Michigan.

A few short days later, July 18-23, five youth and one adult joined 60 other delegates from the Presbytery of Missouri River Valley along with over 5,000 other young people from across the country at Purdue University to attend the Presbyterian Youth Triennium. This triennial event is filled with amazing times of worship and learning together as well as lots of opportunity for fun and getting to know other Presbyterian young people.

We had some pretty incredible trips this July that would not have been possible without your generous support! Please be sure to join us for worship on August 14th as we give a presentation about our summer adventures.

Thanks,
